Ratings: 'General Hospital' Hits New All-Time Low in Women 18-49 Viewers, Again

The Live + Same Day daytime ratings are in for the week of June 22-26, 2015. General Hospital sank to a new all-time in the Women 18-49 demo for the second week in a row. The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful and Days of our Lives were all up in W18-49.

Below is a breakdown of the daytime soap opera Nielsen ratings by category:

Total Viewers (versus previous week/versus same week last year)
1. The Young and the Restless 4,884,000 (+2,000/+479,000)
2. The Bold and the Beautiful 3,742,000 (-125,000/+323,000)
3. General Hospital 2,660,000 (-68,000/-256,000)
4. Days of our Lives 2,353,000 (+50,000/-54,000)

Women 18-49 Viewers
1. The Young and the Restless 804,000 (+5,000/+163,000)
2. The Bold and the Beautiful 688,000 (+36,000/+120,000)
3. Days of our Lives 473,000 (+46,000/-39,000)
4. General Hospital 436,000 (-18,000/-173,00)*

* GH hit a new all-time low for the second week on a row.

Women 18-34 Viewers
1. The Young and the Restless 209,000 (-18,000/+66,000)
2. The Bold and the Beautiful 205,000 (+27,000/+62,000)
3. General Hospital 138,000 (+6,000/-88,000)
4. Days of our Lives 128,000 (+23,000/same)

Women 25-54 Viewers
1. The Young and the Restless 1,118,000 (+15,000/+89,000)
2. The Bold and the Beautiful 928,000 (-16,000/+110,000)
3. General Hospital 617,000 (-13,000/-188,000)
4. Days of our Lives 582,000 (+28,000/-108,000)

For the second quarter of 2015, The Bold and the Beautiful delivered its biggest second quarter audience since 2006, averaging 3.95 million viewers, up +5% from last year. The Young and the Restless notched its largest second quarter viewer delivery since 2010 with 5.16m, up +6%.

  1. GH is unwatchable. Perhaps ratings will spike with Tony Geary's final episode but certainly not in the W18-49 demo. GH needs a major overhaul.

  2. I find GH very watchable but I'd love to see the Denise charade wrapped up, Nina freed from that shabby hotel room and Jason finally revealed. Every show has had its highs and lows but if there's one thing the Carlivati team never disappoints me with is storyline pay-off.

  3. GH is complete crap. The only reason it has higher ratings then Days is because DOOL shares time slot with Y&R. NBC should move Days to a 2pm time slot and blow that sinking ship out of the water for good!
