Lindstrom has starred in a number of soap operas over the years including General Hospital, As the World Turns, Port Charles, Santa Barbara and Rituals. He is currently playing Jacob McCandless on the second season of HBO's True Detective, with a cast headed by Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn.
"Vince is great, Vince is an amazing guy. He's known for doing very broad studio comedies. I'm known for doing soaps," Lindstrom said, when asked about his co-star. "He's best known for the kind of funny guy, but he's an actor, and he's a very deep and talented one."

It is great to see a true solid actor like Jon Lindstrom getting regular work and some attention for it. His range as an actor is rare and I am thankful for his years of dedication in daytime. I wish him well with True Detective.
