NEWS: Anthony Geary, Paul Telfer, Judith Chapman, Max Adler

'General Hospital' star Anthony Geary on the height of Luke and Laura: "It’s not my favorite time of my life"
“It was once very difficult for me realize that more than likely my obituary in the paper will read, ‘Luke of Luke and Laura fame died today.’ It was very upsetting when I came to that realization,” Geary, 68, recalls. “It’s not my favorite time of my life and I don’t think it represents me as a person or an actor. It’s kind of like whenever you are introduced they haul out a high school graduation picture. It can be irritating.”

Paul Telfer has sympathy for the writers who had to rush his short-lived Days of our Lives character, Xander Cook
"I wasn't supposed to start until late November 2014, and then because of Freddie's [Smith] accident they rushed me in like five weeks early. And so a lot of that stuff I think was just them going, 'We've got this story we had in mind, so just generate these scripts as soon as possible. And we will see what takes and what doesn't."

  1. Tony Geary is an ungrateful schmuck. IDGAF if he doesn't like to be associated with Luke & Laura. He's only relevant in the soap community BECAUSE of Luke & Laura's immense popularity. He has done nothing but shit on the Luke & Laura and the fans who made his career. He's been terribly overrated for years and has given some of the worst performances I have ever witnessed in 30 years of soap-viewing. He can't exit GH soon enough.

  2. Rush or no rush, the writers did a horrible job with Xander and that White Elephant nonsense. Paul Tefler is a handsome and charismatic actor who could have been written as Justin's son/Sonny's half-brother Alexander, the child born to Justin and Angelica. Xander could have been paired romantically with Nicole, instead the character was almost-immediately destroyed at the altar of Saint Daniel Jonas!
