Former 'All My Children' Star Eden Riegel Joins Cast of 'Club 5150'

Eden Riegel has joined the cast of Steve Silverman's upcoming Club 5150.
Emmy winner Eden Riegel, best known for her portrayal of Bianca Montgomery on ABC's All My Children, has been cast in the upcoming digital series Club 5150. Riegel will play Seven, a mysterious member of the club.

“We are beyond thrilled to have Eden join the fun,” says show creator Steve Silverman, who has revealed little about the series so far. “She’s someone I’ve been wanting to work with for years. And I think the audience is really going to enjoy seeing her in a role that’s kind of a change-up in pace for what they’re used to.”

Riegel, whose impressive resume includes iconic series Criminal Minds, Rizzoli & Isles and The Young & The Restless, is no stranger to the web world, having starred in the Emmy-nominated smash Imaginary Bitches. She joins a Club 5150 cast that includes, so far, Jennifer Elise Cox (Web Therapy, Brady Bunch,) Michael Caruso (DeVanity, Winterthorne, Pretty), Crystal Carson (General Hospital, JAG, Dallas), Ray Proscia (Mad Men, Revenge, The Inn), Mary Gallager (Friends With Betty Lives, The West Wing) and Wayne Wilderson (A to Z, The Steve Harvey Show).

“I’m proud to say this may be the best cast we’ve ever assembled,” adds Silverman, who has won multiple Indie Series Awards as a producer of hit web series like Pretty and The Inn.

Eden Sonja Jane Riegel was born in Washington, D.C. Her parents are Kurt and Lenore and her older siblings are Tatiana S. Riegel and Sam Riegel. She grew up outside of the Washington, D.C. area in a Virginia suburb. As a child, she first got the urge to perform while watching her brother perform dinner theater. Bitten by the performing bug, Eden soon got her chance to perform when she also started performing in dinner theater for $10 a week. Her big break to perform on stage came when she landed the part of Cosette in "Les Miserables". This led to other Broadway and off-Broadway roles in "The Will Rogers Follies," etc. She also had movie roles in the films American Pie (1999), The Prince of Egypt (1998) and Henry Hill (1999), and guest-starred in numerous television series.

As well as being an actress, she is also an accomplished vocalist who was a member of the popular and well known Broadway Kids. She also sang back up vocals for Jewel Kilcher, Michael Jackson and performed on some soundtracks, etc. Eden is also very intelligent, studious, and cared about her schooling. She attended the New York's Professional Children's School, then prestigious Harvard University and was going to become a lawyer. However, she took a leave of absence for an exciting role. Her biggest break came when she was cast as Bianca Christine Montgomery on All My Children. That groundbreaking role as Erica Kane's lesbian daughter earned Eden four Daytime Emmy Awards nominations, including a win in 2005. She played the role of Bianca on and off until 2010, moving to Los Angeles along the way to explore other avenues in her career such as primetime TV and film. She reprised the role of Bianca in the online revival of All My Children, which ran for one season in 2013.

Club 5150 begins filming this August in the Los Angeles area with a release date set for early fall. Follow the show on Twitter at @Club5150series.
