General Hospital has cast Rebecca Budig (ex-Greenlee, All My Children; ex-Michelle, Guiding Light) for a new "spitfire" role. She will begin taping the last week of February. "I’ve always loved GH and I love Frank [Valentini, executive producer], so it’s really exciting to get to go over there and play," Budig told Soap Opera Digest.
Valentini broke the news on Twitter, teasing, “Hey @RebeccaBudig wanna join the cast of GH in a new Killer Role??” Her reply? "@valentinifrank @carlivatiron What???!!! Only if Billy Miller will do my hair. Like Elizabeth Taylor's. Wait. He's not on twitter. YES!"
