1979: ATWT's Bob and Lisa made Christmas Eve plans.
1979: EON's Deborah was kidnapped. 2000: Vicky McKinnon
appeared as a ghost during a séance on ATWT.

1949: On radio soap opera The Guiding Light, Mama Bauer (Adelaide Klein) died.

1967: On Dark Shadows, in a duel, Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid) shot his uncle, Jeremiah (Anthony George).



1979: On As the World Turns, Dr. Bob Hughes (Don Hastings) made a Christmas Eve date with his ex-wife, Lisa Shea Colman (Eileen Fulton).



1979: On The Edge of Night, Phil (Sam McMurray) kidnapped Deborah Saxon (Frances Fisher).



1981: Former radio soap opera actress Marian Shockley died at age 70.

1981: On General Hospital, after some reluctance Luke (Anthony Geary) encouraged Laura (Genie Francis) to go all out to land the commercial.



1983: Catherine Mary Stewart aired for the final time as Kayla Brady in Days of our Lives.

1984: On Santa Barbara, Mr. Bottoms (Ray Walston) taught his class about safe sex and the importance of planning for children. His students included Ted Capwell, Laken Lockridge and Jade Perkins.



1991: Lucy Montgomery was born on As the World Turns.

1992: Tracy Middendorf aired for the final time as Carrie Brady in Days of our Lives.

2000: On As the World Turns, Jake's dead wife, Vicky McKinnon (Jensen Buchanan), appeared during a séance.



2001: Peyton List debuted as Lucy Montgomery on As the World Turns.

2004: Candice Daly, who played Veronica Landers on The Young and the Restless in the late 1990s, was found dead in a rundown Los Angeles apartment.

2006: Heather Tom aired for the final time as Kelly Cramer in One Life to Live.

  1. One correction on the 1967 DS episode- Jeremiah was Barnabas' UNCLE, not cousin!

  2. Kevin, you have Heather Tom playing a role in her own show in 2006 -- then Elaine Princi playing a role in Heather Tom's show also (lol).
