'Days of our Lives' Star Freddie Smith Makes First Statement Since Ohio Car Crash: 'Feeling So Lucky and Blessed'

Nearly three weeks after surviving a car crash in Ohio, Days of our Lives star Feddie Smith is on the mend. He and longtime girlfriend Alyssa Tabit were involved in a violent one-car accident in Kingsville Township, Ohio, earlier this month that left her in critical condition after undergoing emergency surgery. After a few weeks of silence, Smith finally reached out via his Facebook page over the weekend to share his gratitude.

"Feeling so lucky and blessed today to be lounging with Alyssa Tabit taking in the autumn day in Ohio," Smith wrote. "I can't thank you all enough for your on going support, thoughts, and prayers!!!! I really do have the best friends and family in the world!!!"

Tabit also posted publicly for the firsts time since the accident, an Instagram photo of flowers she received in the hospital with the caption: "I have been so blessed to receive some really astounding arrangements the past few weeks... But a Benji looking arrangement + my favorite holiday decorations!? #Sold 🎃🐶🌻 Thank you Vicky!"
