Soap Opera Ratings: 'General Hospital' Up in Viewers and the Demos

For the week of August 25-29, 2014, ABC's General Hospital posted gains in Total Viewers (+92K), Women 18-49 (+29K), Women 18-34 (+3K) and Women 25-54 (+50K). CBS' The Bold and the Beautiful rose in Women 19-49 viewers (+13K) and Women 18-34 (+25K).

  1. Regarding the ratings on B&B, the majority of viewers did not like Hope marrying Wyatt. The ratings declined due to this.

  2. I liked Wyatt/Hope getting married, what I don't like is TIIC can't move away from Liam/Hope! Wyatt/Hope, Liam/Ivy is the shot in the arm that BB needs! Same goes for Bill/Brooke enough already!
