Solid start for new MTV drama 'Finding Carter'
According to Nielsen estimates, Finding Carter averaged a 0.73 rating in adults 18-49 and 1.69 million viewers overall in the 10 p.m. hour, virtually matching its Catfish lead-in in 18-49 (0.75) while building on it in adults 18-34 (1.01 to 0.98) and total viewers (1.69 million to 1.32 million).

Three generations plus Jill Larson to perform 'The Foreigner'
Ken Jenkins, best known as Dr. Kelso from NBC/ABC medical comedy Scrubs, will direct and play the role of Sgt. Froggy LeSueur, a British demolition expert.

Jenkins' son Dan will play the role of Charlie, a man overcome with fear of making conversation. Dan's wife, Katherine Hiler, will appear in the role of Catherine Simms. Rounding out the family in the cast will be Dan's son Jesse, in his first professional role as Ellard Simms.

Jill Larson, best known for playing Opal Cortland for 22 years on the soap opera All My Children, will play Betty Meeks, the operator of a bed and breakfast in Georgia where Froggy brings the character Charlie to rest when she mistakenly refers to Charlie as a foreigner who doesn't speak English.
