DAYS OF OUR LIVES star Greg Vaughan announces separation
Greg Vaughan (Eric, DAYS) announced on Instagram that he and wife, Touriya, have separated. "As we open our hearts full of love & sadness, 9 years together and 3 beautiful children, we have decided to amicably separate. With dear love for each other and our family, as parents first and foremost, we kindly ask our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time. With our sincere love, Greg & Touriya." The duo, who wed on June 4, 2006, are the parents of Jathan, 6, Cavan, 4 and Landan, 2.

Former DAYS OF OUR LIVES star Peter Reckell moves to Nashville
During a Twitter chat last week, Peter Reckell, who last aired as DAYS's Bo in October, 2012, revealed that he and wife Kelly Moneymaker had relocated to Nashville with daughter, Loden, 6. "The reason I haven't tweeted much recently is because we have moved," he reported. "We didn't want to raise our daughter in wacky LA. So we have moved east." He also addressed Bo's long absence from the Salem canvas. "Going back to Days, I don't think that will ever happen as a long term commitment," Reckell wrote. "Going back to close out Bo's story in a respectful way??? I would do that for you. You deserve better then what they have done to Bo. You have been very faithful and dedicated for years, decades! Not sure what kind of story line could happen, I haven't watched the show. You would have better ideas. Time to contact the show." In the end, he thanked his loyal followers. "Thanks for your support and love through all the years. I'll be acting again at some point so this isn't goodbye its see you later! My Best." Follow the actor @peterreckell.

CBS chief Les Moonves made $66.9M in 2013
Does any CEO deserve to be paid that much money? That’s a good question to debate, though CBS shareholders might not raise bitter objections about Les Moonves' compensation for a year when the value of their shares appreciated 67.5%. Les Moonves headshotThe company just disclosed his pay package in a proxy filing at the SEC and it shows: $3.5M salary, $28.5M bonus, $26.5M stock cbs-logo__120711164808__121116195436__130108233101__130716162250__130926192712__131121001522awards, $5.8M option awards, $1.3M change in pension value, and $1.2M in other compensation. The “other” category includes $533,527 for car and driver, and personal use of the company jet, as well as $531,152 for security. The board credits Moonves for providing “leadership in delivering exceptional results” citing CBS’ strong ratings, retransmission deals with Time Warner Cable and Verizon, and sales agreements for UNDER THE DOME, DEXTER, and THE GOOD WIFE.

Why are TV daughters so easy to hate?
In decades past, dead weight came in the form of Stephanie Tanner on FULL HOUSE and Danielle Chase on MY SO-CALLED LIFE. Even MODERN FAMILY has middle daughter, Alex, to flatline her fun loving sibs. Much like the anti-Skyler White backlash that prompted the Breaking Bad actress to write an op-ed on the topic, it seems we've moved on from hating the meddling wife and refocused our collective ire on the meddling daughter.

Yahoo Rolls the Dice on TV
“It is the pure arrogance of the newly rich and the newly powerful to think content is easy,” said John Landgraf, chief executive of FX Networks, which has had success with JUSTIFIED and THE AMERICANS. “Breaking through in a cluttered marketplace requires expertise in all of the elements of storytelling. There are so many ways it can go wrong.”

AS THE WORLD TURNS alum Danny Pintauro marries Wil Tabares
The Las Vegas-based couple said "I do" in Dana Point, Calif., in front of friends, family, and even some fans, who were able to watch part of the festivities via Livestream. Both Pintauro and Tabares wore light-colored suits for their big day, with what appeared to be chrysanthemums tucked into their vest pockets. The reception was "beautiful," too, a source said, adding that Tabares sang a special song for Pintauro. "It was all very sweet and romantic."

Watch Roger Howarth's debut on CALIFORNICATION
Says Variety: "At times CALIFORNICATION feels like the series Showtime never got around to canceling. So the fact the raunchy comedy has reached a seventh and final season characterizes it as a survivor, despite its excesses and occasional bad impulses, much like its flawed protagonist. Alas, the swan-song episodes (and the pay service made all 12 available in advance) is emblematic of what’s been fun about the show but also the balancing weight of what’s wrong with it, including a slightly cloying aspect to the central relationship that makes it hard to care about its outcome."
