DAYS OF OUR LIVES cast members Deidre Hall (Marlena) and Drake Hogestyn (John) were in Canada this week to promote the show's coffee table book, "Days of our Lives Better Living: Cast Secrets for a Healthier, Balanced Life," and appeared on ET CANADA and Global TV's THE MORNING SHOW. Hall revealed on ET Canada that Hogestyn was almost not cast as John Black because he looked so much like Ricky Nelson, who had just died. Watch those interviews below:
