  1. This explains why "ghost" Cassie hasn't looked like a ghost in a while.

  2. So glad to see Camryn Grimes back on the Y&R. Would love to have the writers find a way to bring her back full time, like maybe an identical twin to Cassie that was taken from Sharon when she gave birth way back when. They only let her keep one baby and sold the other to an adoptive couple. That would work! In any case, love seeing Camryn back again.....always loved her on the show and would really love to see her return. You can make it happen.......you can do anything on soap operas!!!

    1. In the grand scheme of sometimes wacky never-before-heard-of-twin stories on soaps, Sharon's backstory actually lends itself to a story that could be believable if Y&R wanted to go that route. Would be funny if Victor hired a Cassie lookalike and neither he nor the lookalike knew she was actually Cassie's twin. Whoever she is, I hope they invest in this new character and keep her around.

  3. Regarding the Cassie lookalike: I think it would make more sense if she were a younger half-sister of Cassie's via their dead bio-father, Frank Barritt. Some may not remember this, but when Grace and Tony went looking for Cassie in Madison ca.1997, we not only met Frank, but his wife at the time, a rather plain looking woman who gave Grace the stink-eye because she thought Grace was hanging around the auto repair shop where Frank worked trying to flirt with him. It wouldn't be that far-fetched if Frank went on to have another daughter before his death. Perhaps a half-sister might look enough like Cassie where it only took some minor cosmetic surgery and a different hairstyle to make her really look like Cassie. And being a younger sister, this would explain why Camryn Grimes now appears younger than Cassie's SORASed younger brother, Noah (Robert Adamson). Even after the reveal, it would be more than likely that Sharon would see the girl as a link to Cassie and want a relationship with her regardless of her involvement in Victor's cruel manipulation. - jmho

    1. Roger, I was thinking about this mainly because Camryn Grimes has now told Michael Logan that the lookalike is not a twin. Whatever it is, she labels it "fun and exciting." Not sure if my idea qualifies as that, but I would say it might give them a chance to let Grimes play a character who's 180 degrees from the Cassie character, especially if she's got no problem being involved in a scam or out looking for a payday because of her poor economic background and/or how she was raised.

I just hope they're not doing any kind of sci-fi CLONE thing. After all, Victor's a gazillionaire who seems to have his fingers in whatever line of high-tech business a story calls for .. lol!
