"I'm going through the park," previews Deidre Hall (Marlena) in character. "I stop to do something in my handbag, and I hear, 'Doc.' We all get chills, because nobody else calls her that."
"We had one scene where I turn on him and go after him," recounts Hall. "He tries to involve himself in something that's not really his business, and I turn on him. 'Where were you? Why weren't you here? I have so many reasons to be angry at you...'"

Shriner: It would be great if Heather went away for a minute and came back reformed and rehabilitated as a hot, sexy woman who's more grounded in reality. It would be great to turn her into a viable love interest. I can certainly see that love reigniting between Scott and Heather. [Laughs] With the right meds.
Mattson: Maybe Heather has a brain tumor! Like mother, like son? Is that hereditary? It would be great if she and Scotty could rekindle what they once had. It was extremely passionate.

East is East, but Eastside is open to debate
Not long ago, Kit Williamson released a Web series about a gay couple living in Silver Lake. As a tribute to his neighborhood, he called it EASTSIDERS. He didn't think using the name in any way diminished those living east of the river.
"I would never say Boyle Heights and those other areas are not the Eastside," Williamson said. "That would be hurtful and should be avoided. The term is big enough it could be applied to both places."
