Loved it! Really anxious to find out what Steve has got on Sara. Love the cougar aspect. The mayor certainly has been naughty. Looking forward to seeing how it all plays out. Glad to see my favs once again.
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling Steve is going 50 shades on Lianna.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see The Bay is back! I love seeing my favorite actors on screen again.
ReplyDeleteLoved how Steve's henchdudes just picked up Nathan and carried him out, that was pretty amusing. I'm really into Nathan and Zoey and what might emerge there. I positively love the character of Igor. Does it help that Camden Toy is just a kind, lovely person? Yes! But he's got the best lines in the show. "No I'm not armed! When am I EVER?!" Pfft! Jade was really freaking good in the club scene. And I really respect and appreciate the bi-sexuality and make out. Welcome to the 21st century! Well acted, well written. Not enough Will. Wonderful job by all! Thanks for covering THE BAY, WLS!
ReplyDeleteWow! Three years certainly have made a huge difference! Sara is married to Steve? WTH? What does he have on her? Must be bad because we already know some really bad stuff, so if this is worse...I can't wait to find out what it is. Glad she finally confided in Lex about that. Speaking of Lex & Sara -- I'm starting to ship them! What is Janice thinking? I love this version of Steve -- Matt Ashford is great! Love Nathan and his sneaky ways. And tsk tsk Mayor Jack. You've been a very bad boy. Orchid is great! Love that Will has become an police officer...Derrell plays this so well. And I loved seeing the softer, more real side of Igor. Great start! Welcome back THE BAY -- we've missed you!!
ReplyDeleteI posted this on Michael Fairman, but I thought it was worth posting here as well.... Sorry if you don't like what you read. Not trying to be mean, just honest.
ReplyDeletePure, overrated garbage. This show has fallen from grace. I agree with Jessica. The quality alone is enough to get this show laughed out of the room. I also find it funny that all of “the fans” of The Bay post comments within 15 to 20 minute time increments on We Love Soaps, Daytime Confidential, and this site. A little unusual if they are all really different people. The whole thing is rigged by Gregori and his staff to cover the fact that he continues to underproduce a sloppy series that coasts on the names of soap stars. What happened to all the Daytime and Emmy producing talent that was supposed to be attached to this show? Did none of the 80 producers bother to say “Hey Gregori the sound is terrible, and dark lighting isn’t good lighting, it’s just dark?” Yes, Scott Bailey was very good. In fact he was the only good thing that stood out in two episodes worth of senselessness. What is happening with Peter? When did he get over his amnesia? Is Lianna still a hooker? I thought the mayor was suffering from dementia in the last season? It’s suddenly gone now? Why is that kid sticking up for Camden Toy’s character? The last time we saw him he was wearing a wedding dress, and now he’s best friends with the mayors daughter? That makes NO sense. I’m sorry but showing a bisexual couple just for the sake of shock value makes no sense. If it involved two characters that the audience knew and cared about that would be one thing but this seems like a mindless stunt. I’d rather watch Venice.

ReplyDeleteIt is obvious from your comment that you are either someone who has worked with the show in some capacity and became disgruntled, or oddly enough, an avid fan who has followed the show since its beginning and was expecting something different from the recent chapter, only to be disappointed that it didn't exactly follow the path you had anticipated. It helps to remember that the show is picking up three years in the future and the questions you asked will be answered in time. There would be no story to tell if all the answers to all the questions came with one episode. As it is with every serial drama, the goal is to leave the viewers with questions. By your post, it's apparent Chapter 11 THE BAY did just that.
As far as comments go, I have found most are made when the newsfeed on the official website is updated with a link, and/or when a link is posted on one of THE BAY's Facebook, Twitter pages, or other social network outlets. Followers who see these links respond accordingly. THE BAY is fortunate to have these vocal supporters.
Looking forward to seeing questions such as these answered in future episodes of THE BAY!
I truly loved it. I have re watch it a few times. I have been waiting for The Bay to come back and I was not disappointed. Loved it. I LOVE Sara and Lex and I am so into what happened next. It was great to see all my favorites back...I can't wait to see what happens next.

It was a long time in coming but Gregori, Cast and Crew did not let us down. I was somewhat surprised to see a three year jump in time and shocked (in a good way) as to what was revealed. A lot of questions that I am sure will be answered as time goes by. Loved my Cougar Lilly!! It must be one heck of a secret for Sara to marry Steve. (Don't get me wrong, I love Matt and he is playing the part to perfection). Poor Igor cannot get a break. Yes he is demented but I think he deserves a chance to redeem himself; A lot of you remember him in the wedding gown and yes that was a shocker too. Anxious to see more of Lianna and see where life is taking her. Getting mixed up with Steve will be a bad thing, I think. Jade was as cute as ever and looks like she may be getting into something deep and dangerous. Sweet Will now a cop. Is he a good cop or a bad cop, only time will tell. Mr. Mayor there may be snow on the rooftop but it looks like there is still fire in the furnace. Gregori is going to take us on another wild ride in Bay City. Hang onto your boards, it could be a rough and fun ride. To you negative posters, get a life. For those of us who have followed from day one we are seeing a genius mind at work. Oh yes, and loved it when the bouncers escorted nosy Nathan out of the club. What is with Steve's new demeanor (the accent). Now that he is a legit business man (???) I guess he has to sound like one LOL. Anxious to find out more about Brian!! So happy to have The Bay back with us. It was a long wait but I think it will be worth it.
ReplyDeleteAs always, curious to get more more more of the dynamics with Sara and Steve Jensen. Nick Coster, Jackie Zeman and Terri Ivens all ROCKED...and the Mayor's been a bad boy...LOVE IT! I always knew that Igor was really just misunderstood...so what if he held up a bar with bombs and crashed a wedding as a bride?
ReplyDeleteGreat work the the Cast & Crew of The Bay. Gregori can make it all happen!
