NEWS: LUCKY 7 Canceled; Susan Lucci Returning To HOT IN CLEVELAND; Dick Christie To BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL; Halle Berry To Topline New CBS Drama

LUCKY 7 canceled: Fall's first axed show
LUCKY 7 has won the Fall 2013 TV lotto to become the first canceled show.

The ABC drama was axed after only two episodes — and 12 days into the broadcast season — which is pretty fast in the era of heavy DVR playback, with networks typically wanting to wait at least three weeks to receive seven days of viewing data from Nielsen. But LUCKY 7 premiered to 4.4 million viewers and a lowly 1.3 adults 18-49 rating last week, making it ABC’s lowest-rated drama premiere in years despite the evening launching with mega-rated AGENTS OF S.H.I..E.L.D.

EXTANT centers on an astronaut (Berry) who returns home from a year-long solo mission in space and tries to reconnect with her husband and son in their everyday life. Her experiences in space and home lead to events that ultimately will change the course of human history.

GAME OF THRONES Helped Stevie Nicks Get Through a Recent Bout of Depression

Explains Nicks, “I’ve written a bunch of poetry about it—one for each of the characters. On Jon Snow. . . On Arya. . . On Cersei and Jaime.” She also says that she has a talent crush on the author of the "Game of Thrones" book series, George R. R. Martin, who is her age, and “would love to write some music” for the show.

She’ll play herself as Victoria Chase’s (Wendie Malick) long-time nemesis. On the episode titled “The Undead,” Lucci speaks on Victoria’s behalf at Victoria’s fake funeral, getting the last laugh in their rivalry. Lucci has previously appeared four times on the comedy.
