  1. Pete/Colby was very suggestive. That's about my limit for what I want to see on soaps.

  2. Not that much different from Sheila & Scott on Y&R - more than 21 years ago - and that was on CBS Daytime. I still remember my jaw dropping... lol!

  3. I watched AMC along with my mom for years on ABC, but she has only seen the first episode of it online. I would have felt very uncomfortable if she had been watching it with me when that scene was shown. We have more than one tv, but just one computer to watch it. But it is 2013 & with it now online, the language & graphic sex scenes were expected

  4. Rather odd too that TOLN was apparently touting the scene since they uploaded just that part of the episode to their Youtube channel under the title "Pete teaches Colby about computers on All My Children." Yet, now it's vanished from the site with the generic "violated terms of service" message. .. lol! .. Oh puh-leeze.

  5. TOLN sent it us but YouTube had removed it pretty quickly for some reason.

  6. Hmmm...not exactly the AMC that my mom watched for many, many years. Not sure what she's make of it, but it would probably involve a visit to the church and a bunch of Hail Marys.

  7. If they had put something like this in the first episode, it would have created a buzz and brought eyeballs to the screen.

Rather than have Petey drive through PV in that convertible, they should have shown him having some random hook up on the plane to open the show (or a hook up WHILE he was driving through PV).

That would have set the show apart and proven that it's AMC for a new generation. It would have been a way of showing us rather than telling us.

As it is, I think it's pretty irrelevant.

  8. @ Chip - Didn't OLTL put something similar to this, though, in their first episode? As I recall, it was at the grand opening party at Shelter. Dani was stumbling around the club and came across a couple in a backroom. Given what we saw, it was pretty obvious what they were doing. (And, of course, PP hopes everyone is watching both shows.)
