DAYTIME RATINGS: All Four Daytime TV Soaps Down Week-Over-Week, Up Year-Over-Year

The daytime Nielsen ratings are in for the week of April 29-May 3, 2013. All four daytime soaps were down in total viewers week-over-week, but still up in viewers year-over-year.

Total Viewers (versus last week/versus same week last year)
1. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS 4,331,000 (-114,000/+38,000)
2. THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL 3,168,000 (-142,000/+57,000)
3. GENERAL HOSPITAL 2,451,000 (-99,000/+43,000)
4. DAYS OF OUR LIVES 2,396,000 (-100,000/+65,000)

Women 18-49 Viewers
1. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS 817,000 (-71,000/-34,000)
2. THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL 661,000 (-72,000/-61,000)
3. GENERAL HOSPITAL 536,000 (-64,000/-89,000)
4. DAYS OF OUR LIVES 508,000 (-49,000/same)

Women 18-34 Viewers
1. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS 214,000 (-43,000/+6,000)
2. DAYS OF OUR LIVES 168,000 (-17,000/+11,000)
3. GENERAL HOSPITAL GH 167,000 (-32,000/+3,000)
4. THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL 153,000 (-26,000/-51,000)

  2. Kathy, can you produce actual numbers to prove this is true? Do you have real statistical proof that more than 2,396,000 people are watching OLTL and/or AMC online or you just a DAYS hater?

  4. OLTL and AMC cut back to two half-hour episodes a week each. Sure signs of a success.

  5. DAYS is now #3 and GH is #4 across all ratings categories. OLTL and AMC are losing eyes every day (or every other day). Real numbers are facts, opinions are not.
