Layla Crawford & Kristoff St. John |
The Byron Allen-produced show is about an African American family in the White House and airs Friday nights at 8 p.m. on BET's CentricTV, as well as nationwide in syndication.
St. John nails the role of "CJ," ex-boyfriend of First Lady Katherine Johnson (Kellita Smith) who invites him to the White House to teach the President (Christopher B. Duncan) how to play baseball.
During his week on-set, St. John took a liking to the show's youngest star, Layla Crawford who portrays "Olivia Johnson"-- of course, they have a common bond: Layla is a 2013 Young Artist Award nominee in two categories and in 1986, St. John was nominated for CHARLIE & CO. ("Best Young Actor Starring in a New Television Series").
Aww, how cute! People kind of forget that Kristoff was once a talented comedic actor, particularly as a young kid. Nice to see him break away every now and then
