NEP 'Building Studios In An Old Factory In Connecticut' For ALL MY CHILDREN & ONE LIFE TO LIVE

Broadcasting Engineering is reporting NEP Broadcasting, the country’s largest mobile production services company, is building studios for Prospect Park's ALL MY CHILDREN and ONE LIFE TO LIVE.  Barry Katz, senior vice president and general manager at NEP, said new opportunities for NEP “are coming fast and furious.”
“At the same time, what’s old is new,” Katz noted. NEP is building studios in an old factory in Connecticut for the webcast versions of the soap operas “All My Children” and “One Life to Live.” They start production on Feb. 25.

“We became a Connecticut entity because of the tax credit there,” Katz said. “We can build a studio anywhere.” Currently, NEP has nine permanent studios in New York, two in the UK and 13 semi-permanent, custom control rooms in Connecticut, Los Angeles and the UK.
