Meanwhile, DALLAS fans have already boosted its premiere audience considerably through early time-shifted viewing. The two-hour season opener has risen to 3.7 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery, with key demos growing to more than 1.5 million adults 25-54 and 1.3 million adults 18-49.
that's good news about the boost
ReplyDeleteIt is what it is. When the season is over, so is the show, so I guess the ratings is a moot point. RIP J.R.
ReplyDeleteIt's really sad to look at the list of crap shows that beat DALLAS in the cable ratings: wrestling, American Pickers, Black Ink Crew, Real Housewives, Family Guy reruns...ugh. Come on, people (or at least Nielsen families) have no taste these days.
ReplyDeleteDoug, I agree. It's tough to look at cable ratings. And it's a miracle any of those networks commit to scripted shows these days. Maybe it's because people would pay for a cable channel to watch The Walking Dead but not Black Ink Crew. DALLAS has some great stuff ahead this year, plus the end of J.R. so I hope people tune in to watch. I'm not sure everyone has caught on that the show is back this season.
