Liz & Dick exec: 'Producing a movie with Lindsay Lohan is not for the faint of heart'
“When we finally decided to hire her, we had serious challenges to deal with… due to her probation and her history,” Larry Thompson said matter of factly, about Lohan. “We had to make a deal where there were pages and pages of ‘what if’ clauses…What if there is a car accident, What if there is a violation of her probation [and] she would be incarcerated. Aaron Sorkin won't cover General Petraeus story on THE NEWSROOM
"Knowing as little as I do now, which is very little, what I see on the news, read in the paper, I think it’s a great example. Gen Petraeus plainly is a hero in the classic definition—not mine—a physical hero. He puts himself in harm’s way, he’s led men, won battles, protected us. But in a Shakespearean twist, he made a terrible mistake. He made a very human mistake. That is what at least in the short-term he’ll be known for. There’s some evidence that people who have done that can be rehabilitated [ed: cites Bill Clinton], so frankly it’s a story I would love to take on. Unfortunately season 2 of The Newsroom, which began shooting this week, our timeline literally ends the day before the Petraeus story broke, and I can’t include it. Otherwise, I would go there."

  1. RE: EastEnders .. Since we know Christian's on his way to America, I'm guessing we might get a location shoot at Heathrow. They've been known to film there before, as in 2009, when Jack rushed to the airport to stop Ronnie from leaving by grabbing a microphone and screaming "I love you!" over the P.A. (Fingers crosssed.)
