In "You're Gonna Change (or I'm Gonna Leave)," Rayna wants to change her sound and seeks out the help of a highly successful music producer, Liam McGuinnis, played by Michiel Huison (TREME). Juliette goes on a sham date with a squeaky-clean NFL quarterback as a PR move for her tarnished image.
Meanwhile, Lamar's plan to delay Coleman with a police traffic stop on his way to an important photo op for both candidates works too well, and Scarlett's relationship with Avery gets rocky.

I wasn’t sure of Nashville before I caught the premiere on my sweatpants and DVR day. I was a little worried that the show would let the music run it, like we’ve all seen with Glee. That wasn’t the case at all, and I’m glad that I discovered it. A few friends that work with me at DISH are big Britton fans, so we usually gossip from week to week. A show with drama and country music will never get old to me, so I’ll be saving this entire season to my DISH Hopper; it has plenty of memory, and it’s my way to beat nostalgia between episodes.
