Monday night's grand finale of the hit novela ABISMO DE PASION (Abyss of Passion) reached 7.7 million viewers who tuned in to all or part of the two-hour broadcast. Additionally, the novela finale was the highest-rated telecast in its full-run, delivering an average audience of 5.5 million Total Viewers 2+, 3 million Adults 18-49 and 1.5 million Adults 18-34.
ABISMO DE PASION positioned Univision as the No. 2 broadcast network, outperforming ABC, CBS, FOX and the CW, among Adults 18-34 during the two-hour airing and for the entire night. Among Adults 18-49, the novela finale positioned Univision as the No. 3 broadcast network, beating ABC, FOX and the CW, during the time period.
Airing on Monday, November 5 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET, the finale of ABISMO DE PASION was the fourth most-watched program on all of broadcast television and out-delivered the entire line-ups on ABC (DANCING WITH THE STARS: ALL-STARS and CASTLE), FOX (BONES and THE MOB DOCCOR) and the CW (90210 and GOSSIP GIRL) and the first-run episodes of CBS’ PARTNERS, MIKE & MOLLY and HAWAII FIVE-0 and NBC’s REVOLUTION among Adults 18-34.
The broadcast also delivered more Adult 18-49 viewers than the first-run episodes of PARTNERS and HAWAII FIVE-0 on CBS, as well as the entire line-ups on ABC, FOX and the CW. In fact, the finale ranked within the Top 10 programs on all of broadcast television among Adults 18-49.
On local Univision stations, ABISMO DE PASION made Univision the No. 1 broadcast station in the time period among:
Total Viewers 2+ in Miami, Houston and Phoenix
Adults 18-49 in Los Angeles, Miami, Houston and Phoenix
Adults 18-34 in Los Angeles, Miami, Houston, San Francisco and Phoenix
Additionally, ABISMO DE PASION ranked as the No. 1 broadcast program in primetime among:
Total Viewers 2+ in Houston

ABISMO DE PASION tells the story of a lingering resentment created between two families due to a misunderstanding surrounding a fatal accident. The Televisa production starred Angelique Boyer, David Zepeda and Mark Tacher.
