The networks are tauting their L+7 Ratings successes today.
From ABC:
Based on Nielsen’s DVR playback data for the opening week of the 2012-13 season, ABC’s MODERN FAMILY was the biggest absolute gainer among Adults 18-49 (tied with NBC’s REVOLUTION), jumping by +2.3 rating points from its initially reported Live + Same Day rating to the final Live + 7 numbers (5.5 rating to 7.8 rating). GREY'S ANATOMY saw its young adult number increase by +1.5 rating points in the Live + 7 numbers (4.4 to 5.9), while 666 PARK AVENUE and LAST RESORT ranked among the four biggest actual gainers for freshman series, going up by +1.1 rating points (2.1 to 3.2) and +1.0 rating point (2.2 to 3.2), respectively, among Adults 18-49.
Based on the Live + 7 Day ratings during season premiere week, MODERN FAMILY strengthened its rank as TV’s No. 1 scripted show among Adults 18-49, increasing its advantage over runner-up, THE BIG BANG THEORY, to 13% (7.8 vs. 6.9). GREY'S ANATOMY solidified its claim as the No. 1 drama on TV, beating a The Voice-fueled Revolution (5.9 vs. 5.7). In addition, THE NEIGHBORS grew to a 3.8 rating among Adults 18-49 in the L+7 numbers, bolstering its rank as the #1 new comedy.
· ABC was the only network to see each of its scripted series deliver a 3.0 Adult 18-49 rating or better in the Live + 7 Day program averages, including MODERN FAMILY (7.8), GREY'S ANATOMY (5.9), ONCE UPON A TIME (5.3), REVENGE (4.3), THE NEIGHBORS (3.8), THE MIDDLE (3.5), LAST RESORT (3.2), 666 Park Avenue (3.2), PRIVATE PRACTICE (3.1), CASTLE (3.0) and SCANDAL (3.0).
· ABC had 9 shows (including all 8 of its drama series) gain more than 2.5 million viewers from their initially reported totals via DVR Playback: MODERN FAMILY (+4.41 million), CASTLE (+3.36 million), GREY'S ANATOMY (+3.28 million), ONCE UPON A TIME (+3.11 million), REVENGE (+2.79 million), LAST RESORT (+2.66 million), 666 PARK AVENUE (+2.64 million), SCANDAL (+2.56 million) and PRIVATE PRACTICE (+2.56 million).
· In the final Live + 7 numbers, ONCE UPON A TIME (5.3 vs. 5.2), REVENGE (4.3 vs. 4.2) and GREY'S ANATOMY (5.9 vs. 5.8) all grew over their respective year-ago premieres among Adults 18-49.

Live plus 7-day DVR playback expanded CBS’s live plus same day premiere week viewer win from 2.35 million viewers to 2.86 million, according to Nielsen live plus 7-day lift versus live same day ratings for the week of Sept. 24-Sept. 30.
In adults 25-54, CBS moved from second place (live plus same day) to first (tie), jumping from to a 4.0 from a 3.2.
CBS gained an average of +2.14 million viewers over its live plus same day delivery (+20%), +0.7 rating points in adults 18-49 (+29%) and +0.8 rating points in adults 25-54 (+25%). Eight CBS series had live plus 7 lift of more than three million viewers—more than all the other networks combined.
With L+7, CBS’s Thursday lineup increased by +4% in viewers (17.45m from 16.82m) and by +2% in adults 18-49 (4.8 from 4.7) compared to premiere week last year. THE BIG BANG THEORY posted year-to-year gains of +15% in viewers (19.58m from 16.98m) and +10% in adults 18-49 (6.9 from 6.3). PERSON OF INTEREST was up +11% in viewers (17.84m from 16.09m) and +2% in adults 18-49 (4.1 from 4.0), while ELEMENTARY improved the time period by +2% in viewers (17.30m from 17.00m) and +18% in adults 18-49 (4.5 from 3.8).
Among viewers, CBS had six of the top 10 programs ranked by actual L+7 lift, more than all other networks combined. Among adults 18-49, CBS had three of the top 10 posting the largest lift, tied for the most than any other network.
VEGAS and ELEMENTARY remain television’s most-watched new series.

Based on Nielsen’s just-released Live + 3 Day data for last Wednesday (10/10/12), ABC’s debut of NASHVILLE shot up over its Live + Same Day numbers by +2.7 million viewers to draw 11.6 million viewers on average and by spiked by +1.1 rating points (+39%) to deliver a 3.9 rating in Adults 18-49.
