1951: I LOVE LUCY premiered on CBS. Longtime THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS star Melody Thomas Scott is a founding board member of the Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Center, which runs the Lucy-Desi Museum in Ball's home town of Jamestown, New York.

1970: Actor Herb Holcombe died at age 65.   He played Adam Bilodeau in DARK SHADOWS.

1986: On SANTA BARBARA, Eden (Marcy Walker) and Cruz (A Martinez) argued at the airport. Watch the scenes below:



1991: On THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, Drucilla tried a new tactic with Neil, Traci feared she would lose her baby, and Jack asked Ashley for help.



1991: On ANOTHER WORLD, Paulina tried to quell her increasing attraction to Jake. Elsewhere, Rachel recovered from her sudden blindness, and Sharlene feared that Taylor has returned.

1999: Jason Cook debuted as Shawn Brady in DAYS OF OUR LIVES.  This episode was Lorraine Broderick's first as head writer, a stint that lasted less than a month.

2007: On AS THE WORLD TURNS, Noah asked Luke, "Do you want me to be your boyfriend?"

  2. A truly great Luke and Noah episode. I would probably select it for the DVD collection (hint - hint - I hope!). I also hope that when the collection is released they do it right with 20 episodes instead of 10. Goodness knows there are so many worthy Nuke episodes - Jake and Van always made magic!
