1911: Irish actress Maureen O’Sullivan was born. During the '80s, O’Sullivan also appeared on the small screen in a range of soap operas, including ALL MY CHILDREN, GUIDING LIGHT and SEARCH FOR TOMORROW.

1933: Radio soap opera ONE MAN'S FAMILY expanded to the full nationwide NBC network.  It has previously aired only on the West Coast.

1976: ANOTHER WORLD aired its 3,000th episode.

1984: On GUIDING LIGHT, Tony's bachelor party was held.

1990: The series finale of FALCON CREST aired on CBS.

1994: Roger Howarth and the men of ONE LIFE TO LIVE appeared on DONAHUE to discuss the soap.

2000: The final episode of the original BEVERLY HILLS 90210 series aired on FOX.

2003: At the 29th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, winners included ONE LIFE TO LIVE (Drama Series), Susan Flannery, Peter Bergman, Crystal Chappell, Josh Duhamel, Jennifer Finnigan and Jacob Young.
