1979: Tom King's first script as ANOTHER WORLD's head writer aired. King replaced Harding Lemay.

1980: On THE EDGE OF NIGHT, Logan and Deborah confronted Raven.



1991: On ANOTHER WORLD,  Kathleen hoped she and Cass were back on track but Cass was off making love with Frankie.

1993: KNOTS LANDING aired it's final two episodes, two parts of "Just Like Old Times," after 14 seasons on the air.

2002: Ray Stricklyn, who played Howard Hawkins on DAYS OF OUR LIVES in 1991 died at age 73.  Stricklyn had previous played doctors on both DYNASTY and THE COLBYS.

2003: Kyle Brandt debuted as Philip Kiriakis on DAYS OF OUR LIVES.

2004: Legendary actress Anna Lee died at age 90.   She played Lila Quartermaine on GENERAL HOSPITAL for many years and was promised a lifetime contract by executive producer Wendy Riche in the 1990s.  But Riche left the show and just months before her death, GH fired Ms. Lee.

2006: THE WEST WING aired its final episode.

2010: ONE LIFE TO LIVE aired its "Starr X'd Lovers" musical special prom episode.
