Watch Trailer for Aaron Sorkin's THE NEWSROOM

HBO has released the first trailer for Aaron Sorkin's upcoming drama, THE NEWSROOM.

The series, set to premiere on June 24, is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of a cable news show.

Jeff Daniels stars as popular cable news anchor William McAvoy. The cast also includes Emily Mortimer, Alison Pill, Olivia Munn, Dev Patel and Sam Waterson. Jane Fonda also has a recurring guest role as the CEO of the network's parent company.
