Maxwell Caulfield Joins DEVANITY Cast For Season 3

Maxwell Caulfield, star of DYNASTY spin-off, THE COLBYS, and EMMERDALE, will be guest starring on the upcoming third season of DEVANITY as patriarch Richard DeVanity.

Star of film, television, and stage, Maxwell Caulfield broke out onto the scene playing Michael Carrington in Grease 2, before being cast as infamous jet setter Miles Colby on the THE COLBYS. The actor is also no stranger to the British soap scene having starred on long running series CASUALTY and  EMMERDALE . Caulfield is also an accomplished international stage actor with roles in smash hits "An Inspector Calls," "Chicago," and most recently "Cactus Flower."

Richard has always been a major component of DEVANITY, even though we have never actually seen him. His murder shortly before the pilot episode crippled the DeVanity jewelry empire, and devastated oldest son and heir apparent Jason, who was especially effected by his death. Richard will come to Jason at a time when he is desperately needed this season.

Maxwell embodies all of those qualities. He is a profoundly talented actor, and will be absolutely perfect as the DeVanity patriarch. I am thrilled to welcome him aboard. He is another phenomenal
addition to our season, and we are grateful to have him.”

Caulfield will guest star on the second episode of the seven episode third season which also includes soap stars Kyle Lowder (DAYS OF OUR LIVES), Robin Riker (THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL), Gordon Thomson (DYNASTY), and Charlene Tilton (DALLAS).

The series, from Caruso/Portier productions, will commence filming Season 3 in June, with plans to release in early 2013.

Caulfield is married to PASSIONS star Juliet Mills.
