On this date in...

1966: On ANOTHER WORLD, Lee told Mike Bauer she was glad Hope felt so close to Emily, since she herself came to depend too much on her relationship with her father.

1980: On THE EDGE OF NIGHT, Raven took the stand as Elliott's mystery witness.



1986: SEARCH FOR TOMORROW's "We'll Search for Tomorrow" theme was used for the final time.

1992: Tristan Rogers hugely successful first run as Robert Scorpio on GENERAL HOSPITAL came to an end. Robert was presumed dead in a boat explosion. He would return to show many times over the years including in 2012.

2009: On ONE LIFE TO LIVE, David was revealed to be Bo's son.
