Actually, LA CASA DE AL LADO had it's ''Gran Final'' on Telemundo last night (Monday, 1/23).
ReplyDeleteFilling the 10:00pm primetime slot tonight, Tuesday January 24, will be Telemundo's new telenovela, RELACIONES PELIGROSAS (Dangerous Relationships). So anyone wanting to get in on one of these stories from the get-go might want to check it out.
Of special note, this particular telenovela is what's being billed as a "free adaptation" of Spain's popular primetime series Fisica O Quimica (Physical or Chemical). Telemundo's version was originally entitled Fisico O Quimica, but that got changed somewhere along the way.
The popular gay couple in Spain's version, Fer & David, are now supposedly going to be Alejandro and Sebastian??? -- at least that's what Alejandro's character profile seems to imply at the Telemundo website,
Whether or not Relaciones Peligrosas is anything like Spain's seven season primetime drama remains to be seen. Telemundo did something like this a couple years back with Niños Ricos Pobres Padres (Rich Kids, Poor Parents). It was supposed to be an adaptation of the original Beverly Hills 90210 and even had Darren Star's name attached to it, but one wouldn't know from watching it at all.
The primetime edition of Relaciones Peligrosas will also be repurposed on Telemundo each following afternoon and late night for rebroadcast at 1:00pm and 12:30am (PST).
