The Year of the Soap continues as DOWNTON ABBEY, the Primetime Emmy Award-winning series from Julian Fellowes, airs a new episode on MASTERPIECE classic on Sunday, January 22 at 9 p.m. ET on PBS (check local listings). The second season continues with the estate serving as a convalescent home for wounded veterans.
Isobel and Cora butt heads over control of Downton's medical role; Mrs. Bird launches a soup kitchen; and Matthew and William embark on a perilous patrol behind German lines.
