1964: On THE EDGE OF NIGHT, while Gerry McGrath awaited trial for the murder of Dave Hansen, Malcolm (Ed Kemmer) lied to Cookie (Fran Sharon) to make time with Eve Morris.

1981: SEARCH FOR TOMORROW debuted a new opening title sequence (watch below). It ran until February 25, 1986.



1983: On SEARCH FOR TOMORROW, Sunny (Marcia McCabe) and Hogan (David Forsyth) toasted Christmas with two milk cartons followed by a special closing with "O Holy Night" playing in the background (watch below).



1987: On GUIDING LIGHT, Amanda (Kathleen Cullen) returned surprising Ross.



1992: On THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, Jack had a Christmas Eve warning for Victor.



1995: Belgian television soap opera, THUIS, premiered featuring Pol Goossen, Janine Bischops, Merel De Vilder Robier, Sally-Jane Van Horebeeck, Annick Segal, Monika Van Lierde, Rik Andries and the late Donald Madder.

2009: Spanish soap opera EL COR DE LA CIUTAT (The Heart of the City) aired its final episode after a nine year run.
