Christmas Comes Early! Classic AS THE WORLD TURNS Episode From 1982 Now Streaming

SoapClassics is now streaming a classic AS THE WORLD TURNS Christmas episode from 1982 in which David and Ellen Stewart get remarried. Longtime fans will recall what a rough year the couple had before their reunion.

I chose this episode because David and Ellen are such an iconic ATWT couple and we haven't been able to feature them properly on the first two DVD sets. Ellen is one of the original characters of the show and David joined a few years later. Their complicated romance, along with their children, drove story for years.

It also has an old school ATWT feel, so for those fans who really want to see the classics this is a nod to a couple (and family) that was there for decades. Plus, you get hot couple Tom and Margo and a very young Barbara and James. And, as far as I know, this episode isn't on YouTube or any other video sharing website. I really enjoyed watching it and hope you do too.

Visit SoapClassics.com to watch the episode and, if you haven't already, order one (or both) of the DVD collections while you are there!

  1. a clip is on YT but not much, just the scene where Barbara is trying to convince Dee to let her see Paul. Just a few minutes, so it was great to see this episode in its entirety.

  2. Thank you, I used love Ellen and Susan arguing all the time, watching in the 70s growing up. Susan was "Emily" in her day.

  3. Patricia Bruder was shafted so badly when they just decided to stop writing for Ellen. Thanks for choosing this one!!!

  4. Just watched simply wonderful. Annie pregnant with the quads, Dee, Jeff, Besty, forgot so many characters, James' family his mother was on SFT for years. Gunther & Barbara,Chris and no Nancy in that period was the only thing I didn't like. I wonder Roger my friend I know from reading you was a big T&M fan in Justin & Margaret and a Gunther fan, did that have any reason for picking this episode...LOL. Thank YOU, can't wait for some GL.
