Cameron Mathison makes Broadway debut in "Mary Poppins"
Mathison made a cameo role in "Mary Poppins" at the New Amsterdam Theatre. Mathison's performance will be shown as a part of a special GOOD MORNING AMERICA segment celebrating the 5th anniversary of "Mary Poppins" on Broadway, airing Monday, November 7th at 7 a.m. on ABC.

Susan Lucci was in attendance.

Kroger Re-Ups with DSI for Front End
In-store magazine merchandising and marketing company Distribution Services Inc. has re-signed its front end checkout reset agreement with The Kroger Co, through December 2012.

DSI is a wholly owned subsidiary of American Media Inc., which owns and operates the leading print and digital celebrity and health and fitness media brands in the United States. AMI’s titles include Star, OK!, National Enquirer and Soap Opera Digest.

AFTRA to Start Network TV Code Talks on Nov. 7
AFTRA today announced that negotiations with the four major television broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox) and other producers for a successor agreement to the AFTRA National Code of Fair Practice for Network Television Broadcasting will commence on Nov. 7.

Season 3 will premiere on November 23rd.

Chinese soap in Kiswahili for local TV
The first Chinese-Kiswahili soap opera would start to be aired this November by the Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) through its TV channel TBC 1.

Google Ponders Pay-TV Business
Google has looked at ways to expand a previously announced project to build a high-speed Internet service in Kansas City, Mo., and Kansas City, Kan., adding video and phone service in a mirror of offerings from cable and telecom companies, according to people briefed on its plans. As a result, Google has discussed distributing major TV channels from companies like Walt Disney Co., Time Warner Inc. and Discovery Communications Inc. as part of the video service, though the discussions were exploratory and no final decisions have been made.
