CHARITY EVENT: Own Signed Script of ALL MY CHILDREN's Last Episode; Tour the ONE LIFE TO LIVE Set with Kassie DePaiva

Two charity auctions now in progress hope to capitalize on the uncertain future of ALL MY CHILDREN and ONE LIFE TO LIVE--but it's all for a good cause, right?

Proceeds from a signed copy of the script for the final (ABC TV) episode of ALL MY CHILDREN will benefit Project Angel Food. The pitch begins, "Own your very own piece of daytime history: the script of the last-televised episode of All My Children, signed by the cast - including Susan Lucci!" It goes on to laud AMC for its "signature brand of humor and satire" and "social consciousness."  The picture of the signed first page is actually pretty nifty!  Here it is, nice and big:

The winner will receive "an ALL MY CHILDREN signed script from the last-televised episode. In condition as donated." As of Thursday afternoon, the bidding was at $379.99 with almost 14 days left to bid. The estimated value is $1,500.00.

You can place your bid for the script here.

Proceeds from the ONE LIFE TO LIVE tour will benefit the Center For Hearing and Communication. Included is a meet and greet for the winner and some friends: "Don't miss your last chance to tour the set of the Emmy-winning soap opera, ONE LIFE TO LIVE during its final season in NYC. You and 3 friends will have the opportunity to meet Kassie DePaiva and actors working on the set that day."

There is a solemn caveat attached. "Please note that this experience must be redeemed by the end of 2011."
Included is a "set visit for 4 and meet & greet with Kassie DePaiva. Meet & greet with other actors on set is NOT guaranteed. Must be at least 10 years of age. To be scheduled for a mutually agreeable time based on availability. Blackout dates may apply. Must be redeemed by December 2011. Travel and accommodations not included. Cannot be resold or re-auctioned."

As of Thursday afternoon, the bidding was at $1,350.00 with almost 6 days left to bid. The estimated value is $5,000.00.

You can bid on the tour here.
