PREVIEW: ABC Sunday Night Soaps DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES & PAN AM

ABC's DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES is back on Sunday, October 9 (9:00-10:01 p.m. ET) with an all-new episode, "Watch While I Revise the World."

As Susan and Carlos bond over their feelings of guilt at the murder of Gaby's stepfather, Mike begins to think that the two are having an affair. Bree suspects that her detective boyfriend, Chuck, may secretly be investigating her.

As her marriage continues to crumble, the tables are turned on Lynette when her usually relationship-challenged sister, Lydia, comes to town and announces that she's engaged

And after asking Renee to help his daughter, Jenny, go shopping for her first bra, Lee fears that Jenny is starting to bond more with Renee and becoming more distant from him.



DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES stars Teri Hatcher as Susan Mayer, Felicity Huffman as Lynette Scavo, Marcia Cross as Bree Hodge, Eva Longoria as Gabrielle Solis, Vanessa Williams as Renee Perry, Ricardo Antonio Chavira as Carlos Solis, Doug Savant as Tom Scavo, Jonathan Cake as Det. Chuck Vance, Charles Mesure as Ben Faulkner and Madison de la Garza as Juanita Solis, with Brenda Strong as Mary Alice Young and James Denton as Mike Delfino.

Guest starring are Kevin Rahm as Lee McDermott, Sarah Paulson as Lydia, Christopher Gartin as Rashi, Alec Musser as Friedrich and Isabella Acres as Jenny.

"Watch While I Revise the World" was written by John Paul Bullock III and directed by David Warren.

ABC's new Sunday night soap hit, PAN AM, returns for its second episode (10:01-11:00 p.m.), "Ich Bin Ein Berliner."

When the crew gets a flight taking journalists to Berlin to cover an important speech by President Kennedy, Maggie, who campaigned for him, is determined to meet JFK no matter what.

Meanwhile, when her contact's safety is compromised, Kate tries to help the young woman escape East Germany. And painful memories of World War II force Colette to face her tragic past.



PAN AM stars Christina Ricci as Maggie, Margot Robbie as Laura, Michael Mosley as Ted, Mike Vogel as Dean, Karine Vanasse as Colette, and Kelli Garner as Kate.

Guest starring are David Harbour as Roger Anderson, Mark Boyett as the liason, Colin Donnell as Mike Rosen, Ed Moran as Channing, Erik Parillo as Peter Newberry, Preston Simpson as Otto Rotengen, Victor Slezak as George Manchester and Auden Thornton as Anke.

"Ich Bin Ein Berliner" was written by Yahlin Chang. Alex Graves directed.
