PREVIEW: ABC's Thursday Night Soaps GREY'S ANATOMY (All-Boys Episode) & PRIVATE PRACTICE

GREY'S ANATOMY is back with a special all-boys episode, "What Is It About Men," airing Thursday, October 6 (9:00-10:02 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

The doctors of Seattle Grace are called upon to man up when a stampede at a comic book convention causes an influx of colorful characters in the ER-blurring the lines of fantasy and reality.

Mark shows his softer side with baby Sofia when Arizona and Callie go out of town, but at work he continues to give Jackson a hard time. Ben returns to the ER, only to find that Nurse Eli has moved in on Bailey; and the male doctors bond over their frustrations with women, on a special all-boys episode of GREY'S.



GREY'S ANATOMY stars Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey, Patrick Dempsey as Derek Shepherd, Sandra Oh as Cristina Yang, Justin Chambers as Alex Karev, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, James Pickens, Jr. as Richard Webber, Sara Ramirez as Callie Torres, Eric Dane as Mark Sloan, Chyler Leigh as Lexie Grey, Kevin McKidd as Owen Hunt, Jessica Capshaw as Arizona Robbins, Kim Raver as Teddy Altman, Jesse Williams as Jackson Avery and Sarah Drew as April Kepner.

Guest cast includes Daniel Sunjata as Eli, Jason George as Ben, Jeremy Howard as Keith, Todd Buonopane as Greg and Matt Doherty as Carter.

"What Is It About Men" was written by Stacy McKee and directed by Tom Verica.

PRIVATE PRACTICE airs an all new episode, "Breaking the Rules," on Thursday, October 6 (10:02-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

The Oceanside Wellness doctors interview potential replacements for Naomi, including Jake Reilly, and no one understands Addison's resistance to hiring him; Cooper breaks the law and crosses his wife, Charlotte, in an effort to get cord blood for a young, sick patient; and Pete directs his post-heart attack frustrations towards Violet.



PRIVATE PRACTICE stars Kate Walsh as Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery, Tim Daly as Dr. Pete Wilder, Benjamin Bratt as Jake Reilly, KaDee Strickland as Dr. Charlotte King, Paul Adelstein as Dr. Cooper Freedman, Brian Benben as Dr. Sheldon Wallace and Caterina Scorsone as Dr. Amelia Shepherd, with Taye Diggs as Dr. Sam Bennett and Amy Brenneman as Dr. Violet Turner.
