As a tribute to ALL MY CHILDREN's final days on ABC, we continue our series of daily Flashbacks today with a look at the state of the soap in the late 1970s.

In the May 1979 issue of The Soap Box newsletter, John K. Genovese has some quibbles with the show but says "the majority of the storylines on ALL MY CHILDREN are refreshing, enjoyable, and well-handled."
