THE TALK Will Feature ALL MY CHILDREN Hunks The Week of Sept. 26-30

CBS has put out a press release about three ALL MY CHILDREN hunks appearing on THE TALK the final week of September:

THE TALK is cooking up a special “All My Meals” week, airing Sept. 26-30 (2:00-3:00 p.m., ET; 1:00-2:00 p.m., PT), on the CBS Television Network. Three shows during the week will feature ALL MY CHILDREN daytime hunks Jacob Young, Michael E. Knight and Ricky Paull Goldin, as they cook up their favorite recipes and join THE TALK hosts at the table to reflect back on the legacy of ALL MY CHILDREN, which ends its 41-year run on Friday, Sept. 23.

Jacob Young (JR Chandler) will be a guest on THE TALK on Monday, Sept. 26, where he’ll also discuss his return to CBS’s THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL that same day. Daytime Emmy Award winner Michael E. Knight, best known for his role as Tad Martin, will appear on Wednesday, Sept. 28, and Daytime Emmy Award-nominated co-star Ricky Paull Goldin, who played Dr. Jake Martin, will be a guest on Thursday, Sept. 29.
It's nice exposure for the "hunks" although the cooking angle of it, in light of the fact THE CHEW is replacing AMC, is something we could live without. Plus, THE TALK airs opposite ONE LIFE TO LIVE in most places. What will you be watching that week?

  1. This is brilliant on CBS' part. People who miss AMC will switch away from ABC to see their stars. People who want to see cooking will switch away from ABC (maybe) to see familiar faces cook on a "more established" daytime talker. All of it fritters away important first-week sampling from The Chew. It further promotes the arrival of ABC stars on some CBS venues. We all win...except The Chew.

  3. This is a joke!! Moonves lost 75% of his loyal daytime viewers refusing to watch "The Talk" for this time period and he is now trying to pull lost audience of ABC to CBS! Soap fans are soooo much smarter, because they will be on the relaunch of DOOL. Moonves & Frons are one in the same.

  4. Didn't The Talk replace As the World Turns? It's no better than The Chew in my book. I'll be watching Days.

  5. I don't watch The Talk for the same reason that it replaced As the World Turns, I will not be watching their replacent now. As for the replacement of my loved AMC I am sick of all the ads on all chanels (it makes me sick) I awitch chanels so I don't see it. It ABC had put that much effort to publicize our soaps we might have had a diferent outcome. MISS ALL MY CHILDREN and will not watch ABC EVER....
