WATCH: Premiere of Web Series BREAKING POINT

Caryn K. Hayes's BREAKING POINT web series has premiered. The show follows a group of friends as they deal with the extraordinary crises that make up their day-to-day lives.

On the premiere episode, Dana and Ben take their relationship to a new level, which shocks the girls. A contract dispute with an irate music producer keeps Dennis from getting home, spawning an argument between Dennis and Gabby.

Watch it below and let us know what you think.

BREAKING POINT is an ensemble web series that tracks a group of friends dealing with their dreams, triumphs, and heartaches, as they struggle to maintain their relationships, livelihoods, and sanity. When their everyday struggles become difficult to maintain and their world tilts off-course, some may go to extreme measures and commit a few wrongs as they hit their breaking point.

Hayes brought in Katrina Y. Nelson, Editor-in-Chief of Hollywood Official, to co-produce the series through her Hardly Working Entertainment company. BREAKING POINT premiered at the second annual Los Angeles Web Festival, winning an award for Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series (Kyle Steven Templin).

Hayes wanted to put a modern spin on a familiar style, commenting “The style of the BREAKING POINT was very important to me. I wanted the series to have the feel of primetime television, with a hint of premium cable, and a few dashes of daytime for fun.”

The ensemble cast includes: Crystal Coney (former Miss North Carolina, ONE TREE HILL), Olivia Dunkley (Superseven), Keena Ferguson (Red Line, The Marriage Chronicles), Jessica Tomé (GENERAL HOSPITAL, ALL MY CHILDREN), Michael Teh (Wraiths of Roanoke, 2010: Moby Dick), Cardell Jackson (Circle of Friends, Island of Fantasy), and Kyle Steven Templin (THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, CRIMINAL MINDS).

  1. Add some likeable characters. There's no one to root for.

  2. Kinda junky looking and the sound is terrible. I'd rather watch The Bay.
