PREVIEW: ABC Family Tuesday Night Soaps PRETTY LITTLE LIARS & THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING

The Liars focus in on Jason DiLaurentis -- in more ways than one -- in “Picture This,” an all new episode of ABC Family’s hit original series PRETTY LITTLE LIARS, premiering Tuesday, August 9th (8:00 – 9:00 p.m. ET/PT).

Since Jason DiLaurentis came back to Rosewood, there have been a lot of questions about him. Some don’t trust him and are suspicious of his motives for returning, while others see him in a different light. Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer are no different. Spencer is determined to find out what Jason is hiding at his house and decides to finally get some answers.

With Emily in tow, Spencer makes her move – but are she and Emily ready to deal with what they find out? Aria, on the other hand, can’t seem to get Jason off her mind for a different reason. With Jason continuing to pop up in Aria’s life, will she be able to resist their undeniable chemistry?

Meanwhile, Hanna helps Caleb with a difficult decision about his family, which in turn could help put her relationship with her father into perspective.

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS is produced by Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television and is executive produced by I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick and Leslie Morgenstein. The series stars Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Holly Marie Combs, Lucy Hale, Ian Harding, Laura Leighton, Chad Lowe, Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse.

Chloe must race against time to save a naïve teenager from a horrible fate, in an all-new episode of THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING premiering Tuesday, August 9 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.

Meredith invites her new boyfriend, Frank, and his teenage daughter, Vanessa, over for dinner in hopes that the four of them can get to know each other better. Although Vanessa initially wants nothing to do with the Kings, she eventually confides in Chloe about her blossoming romance with an older guy. Reminded of her situation with Brian, Chloe encourages Vanessa to be open and honest about her feelings. Unfortunately, Chloe’s good intentions backfire when Vanessa’s relationship puts her in grave danger. Will Chloe be able to save Vanessa before it’s too late?

Meanwhile, Paul offers Alek some valuable insight into Chloe. Alek takes Paul’s advice to heart and is determined to show Chloe how much she means to him, only to have his resolve tested when Alek’s mutual animosity with Brian finally reaches its limits. Jasmine allows herself to be distracted from her Uniter duties by Zane, a visiting member of the New York pride, but her crush may prove to be a fatal mistake for the Mai.

THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING is executive-produced by Dan Berendsen and John Ziffren with Alloy Entertainment’s Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo. The drama is based on the book series “The Nine Lives of Chloe King” by Liz Braswell.

The series stars Skyler Samuels as Chloe King; Amy Pietz as Meredith King; Grey Damon as Brian; Grace Phipps as Amy; Benjamin Stone as Alek; Alyssa Diaz as Jasmine; and Ki Hong Lee as Paul.
