Anne Hathaway loves British soap EMMERDALEAnne Hathaway has said she turned to British soap EMMERDALE in an attempt to master a Yorkshire accent for her new film One Day.
"It was really hard," she admitted. "I worked with a dialect coach and in the evenings I watched Emmerdale a lot. It was certainly helpful with the accent, that's for sure."
"EMMERDALE's great," she told the AP at the One Day premiere in London yesterday evening. "We don't have programs like that in America so it was actually quite exotic for me."
