Prospect Park Execs Visit OLTL Set
Prospect Park met with the cast and crew of ONE LIFE TO LIVE this past Friday according to Soaps in Depth. While details of the meeting are still scant, we do know that officials from the production company are thisclose to making deals with the union guilds and the paperwork is in the hands of lawyers. "They're very ambitious and they're very happy to have us and ALL MY CHILDREN," Jerry verDorn (Clint) said at this weekend's OLTL Fan Club gathering. "The fans [are] not going to see a difference in production. They said to us, 'We did not buy these shows just for their name and [with the intention] to gut them and put them on in a totally different, unrecognizable form. The fans are going to love it."
GENERAL HOSPITAL's Ingo Rademacher stands in for YOLO Board
Rademacher, who played Jasper “Jax” Jacks on GENERAL HOSPITAL for 15 years, will offer private and group paddleboard lessons for a fee at WaterColor through Aug. 26. After his vacation he’s off to Detroit to shoot the Tyler Perry film I, Alex Cross.
Asia's first telenovela channel launched
Fans of telenovelas in the Philippines will certainly be delighted to know that a Telenovela Channel has been launched in the country and is expected to be operational starting next month. The Telenovela Channel, the first in Asia, will afford viewers the chance to watch their favorite Spanish and Mexican soap operas anytime of the day. The Telenovela Channel has been made possible through a partnership between Televisa Internacional and Beginnings at Twenty Plus, Inc., an independent producer of local concerts and indie films.
Glee: The 3D Concert Movie doesn't crack Top 10 at box office
The GLEE concert film earned $5.7 million at the box office, putting outside of 10th place for the weekend. Ryan Murphy, though, says considering it was made very cheaply, at $9.5 million to $9.7 million, it should turn a profit for Fox.
AMC agrees to 16 final BREAKING BAD episodes

After making headlines for lashing out at the Emmys and MAD MEN's creator, Kurt Sutter opted over the weekend to delete his Twitter feed. "No one chased me away except me," says Sutter on his blog. "Yes, the lazy blogosphere has given up on journalism and now trolls Twitter for their on-the-record in-depth articles. Yes, the hate outweighs the love. But my deactivation was pretty much self-preservation. Eventually, I would have said something that got me or someone else buried in a suffocating pile of irrevocable toxic man sh*t."

Barbara Woronko Anzalone: Living in the shadow of DARK SHADOWS
Thousands of fans descend on the DARK SHADOWS convention each year, held alternately in New York City and Los Angeles, Anzalone said. After her episode airs there Saturday, she will speak to fans about her role as Nurse Pritchett, what it was like filming and give an update on what she's been doing since her episode aired. Many of those fans know the show backwards and forwards, so plenty will recognize Anzalone, organizers told her.
Sam Loco Efe dead at 66
Sam Loco Efeeimwonkiyeke, popularly known as Sam Loco Efe, 66, actor and comedian, died at Rapour Hotel in Owerri, Imo State, shortly after returning from being on location for a film. He is known for his starring role in the soap EVERYDAY PEOPLE.
