SOAPnet Shutting Down Message Boards

SOAPnet has announced a shutdown of their message boards effect May 23. See the notice below:

We've got an important announcement, gang: As of Monday, May 23rd the SOAPnet.com message boards are going away. The good news: we've got another destination where your All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital conversations can continue!

But we want you to be able to continue talking about All My Children, One Life to Live, and General Hospital, and the place to do just that is on the message boards at ABC.com:

All My Children message board

One Life to Live message board

General Hospital message board

When you want to reply to a conversation thread -- or start one of your own -- you'll be prompted to log in at ABC.com. Since you've already registered at SOAPnet, just login with the user name and password you'd normally use here. You'll be asked to accept the ABC.com terms of service, and after that quick and easy process, you'll be able to get back to chatting about AMC, OLTL, and GH!

[Also, if you haven't been using message boards but would like to start, registration at ABC.com is quick and easy (you just fill out a few information fields and you're done) -- you can even do it via your Facebook or Twitter login. For details on registration at ABC.com, click here.]

And remember, this doesn't take effect until Monday, May 23rd.

  3. Why should we even BOTHER to register if you're going to censor our posts if we dare criticize ABC?

As The Rock would put it..."Take your shiny new message board...make sure the codes are up to date...polish up the graphics...then turn that sumbitch sideways, AND STICK IT STRAIGHT UP YOUR CANDY..." well, you know...
