FLASHBACK: Great Courtroom Trials - Leslie Bauer

In the mid-1970s Daily TV Serials magazine ran a series called "The Great Courtroom Trials of Daytime Dramas" which included famous cases from the world of daytime soaps. 1. The Stanley Norris trial on GL is how we first became acquainted with Holly, his daughter.

  2. Thanks for posting this story. I didn't see this play out on-screen but I remember a lot of what came later (Andy Norris returning and being a blackmailing/abusive louse, Ken Norris eventually losing his marbles, etc.)

Was the DA Wexler related to Lucille and Amanda? I don't remember his character at all.

I think it's also interesting to think (I am surmising from this story) that the tradition of the real killer turning out to be a periphery character isn't anything new.

  3. Thanks for posting this. Love reading about soaps back in the day!
