"I definitely have been a Y&R fan for a while. My grandma used to watch, so growing up, I remember having it on every day. I was very flattered. My uncle used to watch, and my cousin still watches. It’s one of the greats. I’m so excited and I was surprised because I’ve never done one. I will tell you that there are some juicy things coming up on Y&R. It’s good stuff and everyone should be tuning in on May 12."

Antonio Sabato Jr. sues auto shop for $7,500
The 39-year-old actor says the shop, Fountain Body & Repair, never fixed his vehicle, damaged it and forged an insurance check without his knowledge, according to documents posted on RadarOnline. The case is set to go to trial on April 26 unless the two sides end up settling it out of court.

Rick Hearst Offers A Challenge
Last week during the brief hiatus for cast and crew at B&B, actor Rick Hearst had the opportunity to speak about his Body by Vi 90-day challenge, which has engulfed his life and filled it with splendor of positive energy. Rick, with two of his business partners John Adams and actor Derk Cheetwood from ABC's GENERAL HOSPITAL, made their pitch for why everyone should become part of this challenge. By the end of the meeting, the three men had won me over with their inspiring stories and, most of all, great humor.

ABC Family picks up JANE BY DESIGN, Greg Vaughan no longer in cast
ABC Family has given the green light to the one-hour drama JANE BY DESIGN, which follows a teenager who lands a job with a hip retail company when they mistake her for an adult. GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Greg Vaughan (ex-Lucky) had been cast in the pilot -- formerly called WHAT WOULD JANE DO -- as the teenager's father, but the actor says that he will no longer be involved in the series.

New TV Critics' Choice Awards: The Anti-Emmys With Just 15 Categories
The newly formed Broadcast Television Journalists Association will present its first Critics Choice Television Awards in 15 different categories, including Most Exciting New Series, the BTJA announced on Wednesday.

Soaps In Depth has learned that Miller's exit isn't exactly a done deal. A setsider reports that the actor is still in contract talks with the soap and a deal could still be reached for Miller to remain on the canvas.

Crystal Chappell Named Ambassador For Hetrick-Martin Institute
Chappell (Carly, DAYS; Gina, VENICE) has been named Ambassador for the Hetrick-Martin Institute, (HMI). HMI, home of the Harvey Milk High School in New York City, believes all young people, regardless of sexual orientation or identity, deserve a safe and supportive environment in which to achieve their full potential. Hetrick-Martin creates this environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth between the ages of 12 and 24 and their families.

Norwalk teen businessman shows artistic side (son of former soap writer Meredith Post)
16-year-old Norwalk resident Philip Posthas launched a line of skateboarding-inspired graphic design T-shirts sold under his label, dertbagdesign. Philip markets his designs online and they are sold throughout the U.S. and Europe.
