This year marks the first time the NAACP Image Awards will honor its TV Daytime Drama categories live on the annual award ceremony. The star-studded event will be broadcast on Friday, March 4, 2011, (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. The newly added broadcast categories will highlight the outstanding work of some of daytime’s most popular actors. This year’s daytime television nominees include:

It's a shame that only 4 of the actors nominated actually did substantial work. Most of the nominees had short recurring roles.
