NEWS: Y&R Wedding, Peggy Mitchell, Judith Light, Mark Deklin

VIDEO: A YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Wedding Preview
An homage to the '50s -- Victoria is a fan of FATHER KNOWS BEST -- the wedding was shot on the front lawn of the house where LEAVE IT TO BEAVER used to film, Victoria's dress is a replica of one worn by Audrey Hepburn in 1957's 'Funny Face,' and the couple are married by a Judge Anderson, played by none other than Elinor Donahue, best known as Betty Anderson on FATHER KNOWS BEST. "I think it's adorable, I really do," Elinor told ET. "I think it's extremely well written and not overdone."

LONE STAR's Mark Deklin on his early GUIDING LIGHT appearances
"I did do a couple of episodes on GUIDING LIGHT. I wasn’t a contract player because I actually didn’t want to go that route. I was offered a contract at one point and that wasn’t the direction I wanted my career to head in. So I passed on that and continued to starve for a few years (laughs)."

GREY'S ANATOMY Season 7 Promo and Spoilers
Regular viewers will recall that Season Six ended in dramatic fashion with a gunman hunting down hunky doc Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) to the extreme distress of his other half, the titular Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo).

Judith Light on playing Vince Lombardi's wife
“He listened to Marie all the time. She had his ear. They were a real power couple. He trusted her advice and she loved his commitment to winning. He was the king of Green Bay, and she was the queen.”

Fiery end in store as Barbara Windsor quits EASTENDERS role as Queen Vic landlady Peggy Mitchell
The character first appeared 19 years ago, played by Jo Warne, but since Barbara Windsor took over the role, Peggy has become one of Albert Square's best-loved characters.

New pro-life drama soap in Japan
On average, 600 abortions are performed in Japan every day. This rarely publicized situation is the subject of a new afternoon soap opera, TENSHI NO DAIRININ ("The Angels' Proxies"; Fuji TV, Mon.-Fri., 1:30 p.m.).

  1. It may be the EP or Head Writer's favorite show, but there is no way FATHER KNOWS BEST would be Victoria's favorite. She's about 20 years too young and is it ever even shown in reruns, anymore?? ROSEANNE would have been a more inspired choice.
