NEWS: Kieron Richardson, Michael Park, Frank Dicopoulos

Michael Park hurting from the end of AS THE WORLD TURNS
"They say all good things need to come to an end. I know that's a cliché, and I'm using it, but it's very sad," says Michael Park, the Canandaigua native who played Jack Snyder on the show. Park, who won a Daytime Emmy this year for his role, was in Rochester on Monday night to receive the Spirit Award from the local nonprofit theater group Break a Leg.

"I haven't watched it because it does kind of hurt," says Park, who doesn't know why it's affecting him this way. "I'm usually not that sentimental. ... The fans have been wonderful, and my heart really goes out to them."

HOLLYOAKS actor Kieron Richardson reveals he is gay on morning show
Richardson, who plays Ste Hay on the UK soap, revealed on a morning show this morning that not only will his character be having a gay relationship, but he is gay too. Said Richardson: "When I was on DANCING ON ICE, newspapers speculated and tried to say we kind of know and if you want to say you can do your story with us and get it out there. At that point, my personal life took a back step and it was more about the competition and trying to get through the next week rather than get a few column inches in the newspaper and maybe raise my profile at the time. But it wasn't about that. But now I feel that it's relevant and the storyline's relevant to some situations in my life then if maybe I can help people that are going through the same thing then it's a bonus." Watch a clip of Richardson's appearance below.

Lilly Melgar: Making a Splash in THE BAY
"I think my fans will be hoping to see something new. I think they're not only looking forward to seeing me back on screen but excited to see new colors and sensibilities to my personality that they may have not experienced yet. Janice will definitely give them that. She's unlike any character I have played before. Everyone will see me in a new light. Janice is passionate, fiery, confrontational, sexy, manipulative, fiercely loyal to the ones she loves. She's Sara Garrett's nemesis and has a teenage daughter which is a bit of a rebel, putting it mildly [laughs]."

Nicolas Coster Sails into THE BAY
"You have to somehow capture the audience's attention," he says, noting that the same things that spark his own interest in THE BAY and in his character will grab the attention of the audience as well. Jack Madison is "a man who's the head of a dynasty of his own" and will intrigue fans who are hungry for stories about family connections."
